Visitor tickets and secure entry

Digital event passes, QR tickets and gate scanning

Help visitors claim or purchase eligible event passes and show a signed QR at entry. Organizers manage categories and gate access from their existing event dashboard. A ticket can be displayed on a phone or shared via WhatsApp without creating another entry.

What organizers and visitors can do

Features apply to eligible events and enabled payment countries. Existing India passes continue to use the established legacy workflows.

Create date-based pass categories

Configure ticket categories, event dates, quantities and admission settings in the original organizer pass editor.

Free and paid digital passes

Offer free entry passes; where paid admission is enabled, let visitors complete the supported checkout flow. Country and payment availability can differ.

Individual signed QR tickets

Purchased or claimed visitor passes generate event-specific QR tickets to show at the gate.

Share an existing QR through WhatsApp

Visitors can share a QR image with family or friends. A shared image is the same ticket, not an extra admission.

One successful check-in per pass

The gate scanner checks event validity and whether the QR has already been checked in. Duplicate scans are rejected.

Share restricted gate-scanner links

For Global V1 events, organizers can share an expiring scanner link with trusted gate staff, with optional PIN protection and revocation.

From purchase to entry: four steps

  1. 1

    Organizer enables passes

Set dates, ticket categories and capacity for an approved event.

  2. 2

    Visitor obtains a pass

Claim a free pass or complete an enabled paid checkout.

  3. 3

    Ticket appears in My Passes

View the signed QR and optionally share its image by WhatsApp.

  4. 4

    Staff scans at the gate

Each QR is valid for one successful event check-in.

Digital pass questions

Can I create free QR passes for my event?

Yes. Organizers with eligible approved events can configure free passes using their pass-management tools. Each claim has its own ticket and single-use QR.

Can visitors share their QR ticket on WhatsApp?

Yes. The existing signed QR can be shared as an image, but sharing does not duplicate or transfer the ticket. Only one gate check-in can succeed.

Do staff need the organizer password to scan tickets?

No. Global V1 organizers can generate time-limited gate scanner links for trusted staff. The link is restricted to check-in for its event.

Can I sell paid tickets internationally?

Availability depends on the country, approved payment configuration and the specific event. International paid admission remains unavailable until payment verification is completed.

Is a stall application the same as an entry ticket?

No. Vendor stall applications and visitor entry passes have different purposes and separate payment records. An application fee does not confirm a stall allocation.

Ticket checkout availability and venue admission rules are controlled by the event organizer. A BookEventStall vendor application fee is not a visitor ticket or stall rent.
